There appears to be a pattern.
Thanks to advancements in science and medicine, babies born early have more of a fighting chance.
Still, babies need 40 weeks to grow. The goal is for all babies to have a healthy start, and that means aiming for all babies to get their 40 weeks of growth.
March of Dimes is an organization that “works to improve the health of babies and support families if something does go wrong.” I participated in the March for Babies in 2011, and again in 2012. We raised money and walked 2 miles around the Sparks Marina. Every year I have donated to MoD, although I missed the walk last year.
This year we’re going to walk again, on May 3rd.
My goal is to raise $300 for the March of Dimes, and I would appreciate your help. Whether it’s sharing this post on your preferred social media account, donating whatever you can afford, or (if you’re local) joining my team, every little bit helps. I thank you all in advance for your support.
