Random Questions with #OSBLOG

Linking up with The Miss Elain-ous Life and Co-Pilot Mom for #OSBLOG (Old School Blogging).

What is the last thing you watched on TV?

I’ve been binge-watching Supernatural on Netflix for a while now. I think I’ve mentioned that before. I also occasionally watch an episode of Scrubs when I need something lighter.

When did you last step outside? What were you doing?

I was just outside when I came home from work and had to walk from the car to the house. The last time I actually hung out outside was yesterday when I took T to the park. He ran around and played, while I got to read. It was lovely.

What is on the walls of the room you are in?

Green paint. Photos. A painting T did for me at school. A shelf that holds candles and flowers and my son’s handprint.

If you became a multi-millionaire overnight, what would you buy?

Student loans = paid! Credit card = paid! And then I’d buy a house near water (can’t decide between the Pacific Ocean and Lake Tahoe; I love them both) and a new car.

Tell me something about you that most people don’t know.

I won a baby pageant when I was little. I used to have the trophies, but I’m not sure where they are anymore. I think one was 1st place for health and the other was 2nd place for darling dimples. Something like that. I was…four…?

Who made the last incoming call on your phone?

It was an automated call from the library to tell me the books we had on hold came in.

If you could change something about your home, without worry about expense or mess, what would you do?

New flooring. Rip out the old carpet and put in hardwood floors.

What was the last thing you bought?

Groceries. I know, it’s so exciting.

This is how we roll.

Would you go bungee jumping or sky diving?

My gut reaction is to say neither. But if I’m forced to choose one, I’m going with sky diving.

If you could eat lunch with one famous person, who would it be?

Ellen DeGeneres, for sure.

Which store would you choose to max out your credit card?

IKEA. I love all their funky solutions to small living spaces.

Is the glass half empty or half full?

Depends on if you just finishing filling it up or taking a drink.

What’s the farthest-away place you’ve been?

Miami, FL.

What’s under your bed?

Carpet. I don’t use a bed frame, so my bed just sits directly on the floor.

What is your favorite time of the day?

After 6 p.m. I’m home from work and during this time of year it’s still light outside so we can go for a walk or to the little park to play. I’m also more of a night-owl, despite my current work schedule, so I feel at my best when the moon comes out.

What Inspires You?

Words. I find inspiration through the books I read, the stories I love.

Currently reading. And getting inspired.

I agree, it’s hard to choose which body of water in which to place your amazing new home once you get those millions! 😉

And it’s cool, groceries were the last thing I had bought too. I love food so, it’s all good. Thanks for linking up!

Lunch with Ellen would be so much fun. What a great choice!
Groceries are my most common purchase for sure. And I have been known to binge watch some Netflix, myself. 🙂

Oh the student loans! Horrible aren’t they. Want to know what else is horrible? That sun because it’s not in my backyard. Boo. Today it’s spring and we are supposed to get snow. Not surprising though since I do live in Canada…damn it.
Don’t do the floors. I had to sell my firstborn to redo our hardwood in the living room.
