Manic Monday

Every single day I wonder what I’m doing with my life. I’m an administrative assistant who never wakes up and looks forward to going to work. Never. I hate my job, and that makes me all depressed and woe-is-me and I-hate-my-life.

And then I think, I’m taking the LSAT at the end of this year. I’m planning on starting law school by autumn 2012.

But then I wonder, will that make a difference? Do I want to be a lawyer? Do I want to spend another 3 or 4 years in school for something I’m not even sure I want?

And then I read Lawyering by Law-Momma. And I know that I will never be able to make an absolute-final decision. I love learning, so going to school will be good for me. As for being a lawyer? Looks like I’m going to need to do some serious soul-searching.

Just because I need to get out of the job I’m in, doesn’t mean I want to throw myself into another one if I have no idea whether it’ll make me any happier or satisfied with my life.

How do you ever know if the decision you’re making is the right one?

I saw this shirt on failblog and I want it. Now to find out where I can get it. It also really stood out to me because I saw it the day after I started a Harry Potter marathon with Jamie and her sister. It was so weird seeing the children look so young. They were all so little and adorable!

I have a thing for shirts lately. And I’m getting a little more comfortable referring to myself as a “blogger.” (You know, to myself. I don’t actually talk to people. That would be weird.). So anyway, Soge Shirts has a few blogger-inspired shirts available and I totally want this one. Think I could wear it to work?

Of course I went to go see Harry Potter 7.2 at the midnight showing, running on barely any sleep and then only got to sleep 2 hours before I had to go to work. But let me tell you: it was totally worth it. So while I was half-asleep at work the next day, I came across this interesting infograph about the Harry Potter movies. What can I say? I love filling my head with useless information. (Although I’m thinking it’ll have to be updated after they get all the details about 7.2, like how much it grosses and such.)

Shell from Things I Can’t Say rocked another link up (remember Rockin’ the Bump?) where over 200 bloggers showed off their little babies in Rockin’ the Baby.

And Rachel just makes me laugh. I mean, come on. How awesome is her slam dunk?
